This project constructed a new transfer center in downtown Lafayette to improve the CityBus rider experience. Indoor and outdoor passenger waiting areas were provided, as well as improved bus loading and transfer operations.

The project consisted of a 1,500 square foot building, housing a waiting area, customer service office, restrooms and mechanical space. A canopy covers outdoor waiting areas, as well as passenger loading points, and supports waiting area lighting, power, public address, data and surveillance provisions.
