Discovery Park

Purdue University

Discovery Park encompasses Purdue University's major research centers and promotes Purdue's large-scale interdisciplinary research efforts. The J. Timothy McGinley Plaza, in the heart of Discovery Park, is a major attraction for students, researchers and visitors alike.

The centerpiece of the plaza is the Discovery Park fountain, one of the university's newer landmarks. Nearby is a 4,000 square foot outdoor learning space, along with several rain gardens.

Loftus Engineering provided the electrical power and lighting design for Phase 6 of the overall project, which included McGinley Plaza, Discovery Park fountain and major pedestrian and bicycle thoroughfares between and around the Bindley Bioscience Center and Mann Hall.
