Lew Wallace Elementary School 107 Renovation

Indianapolis Public Schools

This project involved the renovation and reconfiguration of School 107 to meet the current IPS elementary school programming needs. In addition, the HVAC, plumbing electrical and lighting systems for the entire facility were replaced and upgraded. Analysis of potential HVAC systems under consideration was performed in two phases to develop the best HVAC solution for the school.

The new mechanical systems and equipment included chillers, boilers, hydronic pumps, hydronic piping, hot water heater, plumbing fixtures and plumbing piping.

Loftus Engineering performed the mechanical engineering services for the project, including the HVAC system analysis, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design and energy modeling for the LEED certification effort.
